Laal Ishq Marathi Movie Review

Laal Ishq is Marathi romance mystery thriller film, directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-produced by Shabina Khan under the Bhansali Productions banner, a movie starring Swwapnil Joshi, Anjana Sukhani, and Sneha Chavan. 

The movie got mixed reviews by critics, TimesodIndia with 2.5 rating quotes 'A rather apt phrase would be a romantic thriller. The film does some justice to this phrase but it doesn’t live up to the viewers’ expectations of grandeur and beautiful songs identifiable with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production.'

Overall ‘Laal Ishq’ is a one-time watch. The performances from all actors are worth appreciating.

Veerappan Hindi Movie Review

Veerappan (None Like Him Ever Existed) is an Indian biographical film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, based on the life of Indian bandit Veerappan, and the events leading to Operation Cocoon to capture and kill Veerappan. The movie got good reviews from critics. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh twitted 'Veerappan gives an insight into the life and times of the dreaded bandit. RGV is in good form. Sandeep Bhardwaj as Veerappan is superb.'

TimesOfIndia and Deccan chronicle rated 3stars for the movie.

Sarbjit Hindi movie featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumaar have got mixed reviews, check it here. According to Thenational who have rated 2 stars 'The film picks up ­momentum as the focus shifts to Kaur’s campaign, but ­becomes heavy-­handed as it attempts to frame Singh’s plight in the context of Indo-Pakistan relations. The movie transforms into a campaign film, not for Singh but for all ­prisoners languishing behind bars because of hostile ­political relations between ­countries – as if one case means everyone has ­suffered an injustice simply because of their passport. It seems a tenuous ­argument.'

The media247 who has rated the film 4 stars says 'There is a lot crammed into two hours and at some small points, some of the audience’s attention might be lost, but overall ‘Sarbjit’ is a indeed good watch and a must-see. Azhar Movie First Day Box Office Collection

Azhar Movie First Day Box Office Collection is 6.30 crores. The collection was expected little higher. The best collection of the movie is from Nizame,Andra, which is around 40 lakhs net. Mumbai collection is around 2 crore. The movie was low in Delhi city, East Punjab, and Eastern Market.

It is sports biographical film written by Rajat Arora and directed by Tony D’Souza. Based on the life of the Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Sony Pictures Networks, and features Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta in lead roles.

The movie had a fair opening in metro seen around 25% of occupancy in opening shows. Azhar opens well in UAE-GCC. Collected approx 0.72 crores (AED 400,000) on Thursday.

Day 1 Collection : 6.30 crores

Total Budget : 38 Crores.

The movie released on 2100 screens in India with a total budget of 38 crores, which includes 28 crores production cost and 10 crores Prints & Advertising Cost. All India Rights of Azhar has been sold for 22.5 crores to Kumar Mangat and Satellite Rights has been claimed to be sold at Rs 8 Crores.
The movie had opened well in Gurajat than metro like Mumbai and Delhi. The opening of Azhar is the better than the last 6-7 releases of Emraan Hashmi but its short of a Jannat 2 or Raaz 3.


Overseas Collection on Opening Day:  Day 1 at Australia box office collected 0.88 crores from 19 screens.  Day 1 at New Zealand box office collected 0.27 crores with 7 screens 1 screen yet to report. Day 1 at U.K. box office collected 0.624 crores from 23 screens, and UAE box office is 0.72 crores. Total Overseas collection so far is 2.5 Crores
Other this week releases are Buddha In A Traffic Jam, Dear Dad, and  Chudail Story.
